「音樂是我的所有，但音樂也令我一無所有⋯⋯」

三十年前，唱作人柳重言第一次拿起結他。從此，音樂就離不開他的人生。

初中的時候跟同樣是結他發燒友的同學Fred去鐵皮屋jam歌，從此踏上創作之路。要繼續在音樂上發展，唯有做暑期工死慳死抵，買電子琴和混音器，躲在房間日做夜做。

1989年，他參加了CASH第一屆流行曲創作大賽入行。獎項讓他踏進了樂壇這個花花世界，初期幫歌手填曲填詞，後來更當上音樂監製。經典歌曲，包括王菲的《紅豆》，陳奕迅的《單車》，都是出自他的手筆。但無論歌有幾紅，他還是背後那個不太為人所知的作曲人。

經歷SARS，唱片業低迷，柳重言在音樂路上苦苦掙扎，在2012年「世界末日前」，終於完了一個多年的音樂夢。但原來，背後的靈感及動力，都是來自一段空白了的緣份⋯⋯

我心尊主為大；
我靈以神我的救主為樂；

他憐憫敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。

Μεγαλύνει ἡ ψυχή μου τὸν Κύριον
καὶ ἠγαλλίασεν τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐπὶ τῷ Θεῷ τῷ σωτῆρί μου,
ὅτι ἐπέβλεψεν ἐπὶ τὴν ταπείνωσιν τῆς δούλης αυτοῦ.
ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν μακαριοῦσίν με πᾶσαι αἱ γενεαί,
ὅτι ἐποίησέν μοι μεγάλα ὁ δυνατός,
καὶ ἅγιον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ,
καὶ τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ εἰς γενεὰς καὶ γενεὰς
